Little Shepherd Ministries Introduction<\/span>\u00a0September 3, 2021<\/strong><\/p>

Preface.<\/strong><\/p>

We are a group of brothers and sisters from Grace Friendship Church, led by God, moved by the Holy Spirit, and following the past teaching and desire of Pastor Ricky, we have started the ministry of Little Shepherd. Our vision for the future is\u00a0to\u00a0<\/span>build a\u00a0Community Special Needs Care Center<\/span>\u00a0if it is God’s will.<\/strong><\/p>

The ministry of the Little Shepherd is aimed at the Chinese community, including local churches, families, elderly care and children with special needs. It will have an impact on their needs and skills in life, knowledge and confirmation of their faith, and will bring about renewal and change in their lives. We invite you to join us in this ministry with the churches, and to do your best for the Kingdom of God, for which love of God and love of people is our constant goal. We look forward to your prayers, and we are ready to serve you with humble hearts and celebrate the Lord’s grace!<\/strong><\/p>

Practical Action Programme.<\/strong><\/p>

  • The\u00a0Ministry Collaboration Center\u00a0<\/span>has been set up in collaboration with the churches to effectively provide services in various areas of need. For example: elderly care, transport, medical care, health insurance applications, etc.<\/strong><\/li>
  • Special Care and Assistance. To provide physical and spiritual support and pastoral care for families and individuals, as well as\u00a0respite family nights\u00a0<\/span>for carers and, if God permits, future training in social skills and life skills.<\/strong><\/li>
  • Hospice and funeral services. Provision of legal information and practical help in all areas.<\/strong><\/li>
  • Little Shepherd training, health talks, skills training and new immigrant ministry.<\/strong><\/li>
  • Connect with churches: share resources, collaborate in related ministries\u00a0–\u00a0<\/span>care, talks,\u00a0Special Needs<\/span>, transportation, local disaster relief, spiritual information.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>

    Prayer Matters.<\/strong><\/p>

    • Little Shepherd is currently located at<\/span>\u00a01301 E. Arapaho Road, Suite 104, Richardson, TX.\u00a0We urgently need your prayers and hope to have the required space in order for use in the near future<\/span>.<\/strong><\/li>
    • We urgently need to recruit volunteers to serve in all aspects of ministry and to participate in training.<\/strong><\/li>
    • With God’s permission, we are willing to go to the churches to share our ministry and partner with them to build\u00a0“<\/span>\u00a0kingdom ministry\u00a0”\u00a0<\/span>locally.<\/strong><\/li>
    • Pray for support<\/span>\u00a0for the\u00a0refugees in Afghanistan and<\/span>\u00a0for the\u00a0devastation<\/span>\u00a0of hurricane Ida.<\/strong><\/li>
    • We also pray for the congregations in the Dufford area and for the\u00a0CMC\u00a0<\/span>at the end of the year.
