Little Shepherd Ministries Introduction September 3, 2021

Preface.

We are a group of brothers and sisters from Grace Friendship Church, led by God, moved by the Holy Spirit, and following the past teaching and desire of Pastor Ricky, we have started the ministry of Little Shepherd. Our vision for the future is to build a Community Special Needs Care Center if it is God’s will.

The ministry of the Little Shepherd is aimed at the Chinese community, including local churches, families, elderly care and children with special needs. It will have an impact on their needs and skills in life, knowledge and confirmation of their faith, and will bring about renewal and change in their lives. We invite you to join us in this ministry with the churches, and to do your best for the Kingdom of God, for which love of God and love of people is our constant goal. We look forward to your prayers, and we are ready to serve you with humble hearts and celebrate the Lord’s grace!

Practical Action Programme.

  • The Ministry Collaboration Center has been set up in collaboration with the churches to effectively provide services in various areas of need. For example: elderly care, transport, medical care, health insurance applications, etc.
  • Special Care and Assistance. To provide physical and spiritual support and pastoral care for families and individuals, as well as respite family nights for carers and, if God permits, future training in social skills and life skills.
  • Hospice and funeral services. Provision of legal information and practical help in all areas.
  • Little Shepherd training, health talks, skills training and new immigrant ministry.
  • Connect with churches: share resources, collaborate in related ministries – care, talks, Special Needs, transportation, local disaster relief, spiritual information.

Prayer Matters.

  • Little Shepherd is currently located at 1301 E. Arapaho Road, Suite 104, Richardson, TX. We urgently need your prayers and hope to have the required space in order for use in the near future.
  • We urgently need to recruit volunteers to serve in all aspects of ministry and to participate in training.
  • With God’s permission, we are willing to go to the churches to share our ministry and partner with them to build  kingdom ministry ” locally.
  • Pray for support for the refugees in Afghanistan and for the devastation of hurricane Ida.
  • We also pray for the congregations in the Dufford area and for the CMC at the end of the year. May God raise up His servants to serve Him with one accord.
