Who we are
The Little Shepherd Foundation is a non-profit organisation set up by a group of Christians who love the Lord passionately and follow God’s call. We wish to follow the teachings of the Bible, to do justice, to be merciful and to walk with our God in humility! We hope to take practical action to care for and assist vulnerable people in genuine need.

How we do it

Board Members
Brother Terry Ong
Director-General
Brother Terry Ong graduated from Texas Tech University with a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. He has worked for Abbott Laboratories, Texas Instruments, EDS, and Self-Created Computers for over 40 years. He has been a long-time member of the care ministry at Grace Friends Church in Dallas and is very familiar with the American health care system and is often invited to speak to groups in the Dover area. He is now living with his family in Karen, a suburb of Dallas, USA.
Brother Tony Chang
Finance
After studying in the United States and earning a master's degree in computer science at the Pratt Institute in New York, Brother Tony Chang has worked in the high-tech industry, serving as a senior executive at Nortel Networks and Huawei's U.S. research and development centre, and was awarded the "Asia Executive of the Year" award in 2017. After being baptized at Grace Friends Church in Dallas in 1989, Brother Dachen has been a dedicated and long-time servant of the Lord, serving as a Sunday school teacher for children, youth and adults, serving on the church's deacon board, and actively participating in various ministries such as church building, care and personnel welfare committees. Brother Da Cheng now lives with his family in Brannon, Texas, USA, a suburb of Dallas.
Elder James Lin
Administration
Elder James Lin came to the United States in 1979 for further studies and has been working in Dallas for over 40 years since graduation. In 1981, he joined a local Bible study group and in 1982, he and his co-workers were involved in the founding of Grace Friends Church in Dallas, according to God's desire. In 2000, he was called by God and ordained as an elder. In 2002, he was actively involved in the planting of the church and established Grace and Friends Church of Collin County. Elder Lam has served faithfully in various ministries within and outside the church and currently serves as an elder in both Dallas Grace Friends Church and Collin County Grace Friends Church.
Brother David Hsiao
Ministry Planning
Brother David Hsiao grew up in a Christian family, attending church children's Sunday school and youth fellowship from a young age, and was baptized into Christ in junior high school. He went to the United States to pursue his Master's degree and graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He joined Texas Tech for nearly 30 years and was later employed as the General Manager of Singapore's Ambrose Technology Semiconductor Corporation until his retirement in 2020. During his time in the workplace, he also served in various ministries of the church, serving as chairman of the church deacons, Sunday school teacher and chairman of the core team. He currently resides in Dallas, USA, and has a lifelong desire to be a disciple of the Lord, to serve the people and to glorify God.
Brother Joseph Wan
Technical Director
After graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas with a master degree in Computer Science, Brother Wan has been working in the IT field for over 30 years since he successfully entered the workforce. He was baptized into The Lord in 1986 and has always been a dedicated and helpful servant, helping numerous brothers and sisters in and out of the church. He is a very clever and handy man in audio-visual, IT and even house maintenance, making good use of The Lord's gifts to be a good witness for The Lord an all times. He is now living with his family in Richardson, a suburb of Dallas.
